La Marea

The ‘La Marea’ was a contemporary art performance staged in London Street Norwich.

In real time moving from the pavement to illuminated windows, from balconies to café terraces.

The actors’ thoughts were projected subtitles

It featured nine fictional scenes, repeated over the course of the evening in shop windows and on street corners. The actors’ thoughts were projected subtitles.

My role

I worked as the technical manager for the Norfolk and Norwich Festival.

I was responsible for all the technical equipment. Including projectors and screen sets, lighting and sound.

Strumpshaw Tree Fair is the biggest event of its kind in East Anglia. Live music throughout the weekend. With over 100 stalls.

My role

I worked as the technical manager and sound engineer for the festival.

I was responsible for suppling the PA system and backline.

Venue: Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate Florida
Organisation: Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals.
Brief: One main room for seven hundred delegates. Simulations translation booths for nine languages. Two large breakout rooms and fifteen smaller breakout rooms. An exhibition with 24 x 50” Plasma screens.

A film making day for the delegates to film a mock advertisement, with a ‘best film’ awards ceremony gala event.

My role

I worked as the technical manager for CVS International.

I specified all the equipment needed for the event.
